Hello! I'm Eileen.
This blog is dedicated to my dream of being a professional tarot reader!
What is Tarot?
Well, in my own terms, TAROT CARDS are the
medium one can use to communicate with their inner self, a higher power, the universe, nature, the flying spaghetti monster, etc. The tarot is a form of divination that has been passed down since the fourteenth century. The colors, images, and symbols on the cards resemble the human condition as well as the human heart in mind.
What I find so exceptional about tarot is the
individualistic approach to spirituality. Whether you are religious or not, you can gain insight to the tarot. This may be as simple as communicating with the part of you that you do not yet know.
Here's another article I find helpful when trying to explain the tarot. Feel free to check it out!

History
Also, I encourage you to take a look at the HISTORY of the tarot.

So who am I?
I'm an aspiring professional tarot reader. My mission is to open minds to the power of the tarot so that the mind, spirit, and physical being can benefit from the insight that the tarot has to offer.
I invite skeptics to sit down with me! I do not claim to have the power to change your mind, however in my experience, one's perspective can shift after an eerily accurate reading.
Is the tarot witchcraft?
Tarot is not directly related with any religion, but in my opinion, a form to aid spirituality of any kind. The readings I do are never anything but productive and inspiring messages, even if sometimes they are very spot on in a specifically vulnerable and personal way and therefore hard to hear.
I encourage those who are worried about any "sinister" energies related to the tarot to read this article to dispel any uncertainties.

Is a reading like a therapy session?
Yes and no.
As someone who suffers from depression and anxiety, the tarot is an exceptionally therapeutic tool that helps me feel better.
However, if I sit down to a reading with a client, I may be interpreting the cards without any knowledge of that persons situation. I can interpret the cards on a broad level to help the client get a better understanding of what the card means. However,
it is the clients intuition, not mine, that the insight is found in. I am simply a guide that allows you to better understand the message that your inner self is trying to send to you.
In other words, you don't need to tell me your life story in order for the tarot to work for you. Instead, you can tell me as much or as little about you as you like and the tarot will still provide insight to your life.
So, in conclusion,
the tarot is a tool that I believe can be beneficial in anyone's life. It is something that I feel very passionate about. It changed my life and I believe it can certainly change yours! However, even if you don't believe in things of this nature, it can be fascinating to learn what the tarot has for you!
I invite you all to ask questions and contact me for a reading!
I am happy to meet clients somewhere or have them come to me. ((I do not believe in online readings, I feel they are impersonal.))
